Blake Hillary
“Losing a brother is never easy. If you knew Blake well, you considered him your family. Blake was always the center of attention, he was always the sports figure that people looked up to. For his friends, he was always the person that knew you best.
For me, Blake was my best friend. In 2008, you transferred to Tri-Valley and we instantly clicked, becoming best friends. Through everything, we were always there for each other, there was nothing that would come between our friendship in the end. You, and your family were a huge influence on me growing up. I looked at your family as they were my family, and I know you felt the same way. You and your family brought me to church for the first time. You are the person who talked me into dating my now fiancé, 8 years ago. You are the reason I strive to be a better person daily.
I don’t know how I’ll be able to move on from losing you. I don’t think I ever will. But I know that’s what you would want in the end, so for you I will carry on and continue to be strong.
To the Cowden family, I love all of you and will always be there if you need anything. You have all been influencers on my life.
Jeff, Debbie, Kyle, Laura, and Brittany.
We love you #8.”
