The Blake Cowden Leadership Foundation is honored to further Blake’s impact as a leader in school, life, and business.
Our mission is to develop young people into confident leaders by providing opportunities to learn leadership skills, character attributes, integrity, and communication skills which will help them to build strong positive relationships and position them to impact others and create a high performing environment.

Leading others is not easy, and Blake's faith was most important to him and provided him guidance. Blake's favorite bible verse was Philippians 4:13, which he had written on his football cleats and basketball shoes. We believe his faith provided him both confidence and a compass to leverage, as he interacted in sports, business, and life.
Leadership is defined as the action of leading a group of people, team or organization.
Leaders help themselves and others to do the right things. They communicate well, build strong relationships, set direction and provide an inspiring environment. Leadership is about mapping out where you need to go to "win": as a team or organization. It is dynamic, exciting, and inspiring. The Blake Cowden Leadership Foundation seeks to encourage young leaders, just like Blake.
